Wonderwall

Why do people build walls? To protect themselves from being hurt? Again? Pride? Stubbornness? Why do people want to try and break down other people’s wall? Do they care because they’re curious or do they do it out of curiosity and then start to care?
Anyways, I believe everyone has a wall up to protect themselves. Everyone has a dark side, but I always choose to find the good even in darkness. I’m always in a happy, care-free mood (well, most of the time) because I know how it feels like to be in complete darkness. With everything that has been happening lately, life really is too short to be anything but happy. Build your wall, but don’t build it too high. People and humanity do suck a lot of the times, but there’s a few people who will actually try to break your wall because they genuinely care. But learn to differentiate between the two because most are curious and few actually cares.

Everyone is fighting a hard battle, don’t be a cunt.

Blushed in neutrals

It’s very rare that I get a 3-day weekend from work unless I request it off. Taking a break from my wild Friday and Saturday, I decided to spend time with just my family. Especially my mom because I barely get to see her because we’re both so busy and have opposite schedules. My mom loves taking pictures especially with flowers and plants so I decided to take her to Como Zoo and Observatory to take photos there. During the summertime, the little gardens are filled with such pretty flowers and plants. If you’re not from Minnesota and ever come to Minnesota for whatever reason, definitely stop by Como Zoo. It’s a fun place to enjoy time with family and friends and it’s free!

Basilica Block Party 2015

I get a text from my ‘boyfriend #2’ (Katherine) telling me to take the 10th of July off work. First experience at the Basilica Block Party, and it was so chill. Good vibes everywhere. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Different businesses were handing out a bunch of free stuff. Who doesn’t love free things? I know I do. There were food, drinks, and the best part, live music! I got to see Matt Kearney. I am such a huge fan of his song ‘Ships in the Night.’ It was a great experience and I’m blessed I got to go for free. (: If you live around the twin cities, I would definitely recommend to make the Basilica Block Party a summer goal next year!

What I’m wearing:
When I think of a block party, I think of outside weather and a place filled with people. Crowded. Body heat. Sun. So I decided to wear something simple, comfortable, breezy, but still cute. A flowy dress is the perfect piece to wear to a block party. It’s effortless and no layering necessary so I didn’t have to worry about being too hot or uncomfortable. Threw on a belt to extenuate my body, a straw fedora to fix a bad second hair day, & strappy sandals for comfort and they’re really in this summer!

DREAMS OF PARADISE~

Paradise: A place of extreme beauty and happiness.

A friendly hello and thank you to everyone who took their time to stop by my blog and read this. :) I’m not really good with introductions, but here goes nothing. Last name Vue, first name Birdy. (Okay Drake.) Comment below if you know what I did there :p Anyways, born in the west coast, raised in the east coast, and now residing in the midwest. 2 decades of living and here I am with my very own blog. BIRDYSPARADISE will consist of fashion, beauty, food, family, friends, strangers, adventures, and basically my lifestyle. Simplicity at its best~

Everything you see on this blog is my happiness, my paradise.

Being the young adult I am, I am a broke college student who works a part-time job trying to pursue my dreams. I am a fashion enthusiast and the awesome thing about fashion is, you don’t have to buy super expensive clothes to look fashionable!  Sure, expensive brands are nice to own and wear, but I cannot afford that lifestyle. At least not at 20, lol. I like to live within my means. The photos below is a clear presentation of some of the stores I like to shop at. Nothing too lavish, but perfect for my everyday wardrobe.

And a shout-out to my sister, Houa Vue, for creating my banner. And thank you to everyone who helped me made this blog possible. Ya know who ya are. :)
