Pillow talk. Food for thought.
So, I was just texting a friend who was stressed about life
and it got me thinking too. Sometimes in life you just feel lost. Stuck. Your
mind clutters. Same thing, different day. It gets too repetitive and everything
just seems so bland. Then you start to question yourself, “What am I doing with
my life?” And then you start to feel like you’re not really living. You start
to feel like your living your life worthlessly. And worse, you start to compare
your life to others. Comparing yourself to others is a battle in which you will
lose every time. Someone else’s accomplishments in life is not the absence of
yours. The things you lack is confidence, motivation, & inspiration.
And then I realized, your life is only as exciting and adventurous
as you make it. You are the creator of your life. You are the writer, the
author of your book. Close the chapters that makes you feel less. Write new
ones. If you start to feel stuck, take the initiative to change something about
your life. One day at a time, one change at a time. Good change takes time. Don’t
expect magic to happen overnight. And do not be afraid of change. If you can
dream it, you can achieve it. Go on more adventures. Be around good energy.
Connect with people. Learn new things. Grow. Good vibes only.
So focus. Don’t let anything or anyone distract you. Love yourself,
put yourself first. Your relationship with yourself sets the tone for every
other relationship you have. Find what brings you joy and go there. And it doesn’t matter how slow you go, as long as
you don’t stop going. Focus.
